Free Fishing Seminars at the Pier-Tuesday Mornings at 10 a.m. at the Lions Shelter House near the Dam.

Pine River's Free Fishing Seminars are led by noted area guide, Den Pluimer. Den has been guiding Pine River area lakes for over twenty years and provides seminar attendees with a tackle box full of fish catching ideas. Den promotes catch and release and touched on other interesting fishy subjects during his presentation. Here's your chance to pick the brain of a real north country guide without costing you a cent!

The lakes and the streams in the Pine River area contain all species of game fish. You'll find walleye, large and small mouth bass, northern pike, muskie, panfish and trout in these northern waters.

Anglers of all ages are invited to bring their fishing poles and learn new techniques or brush up on old ones. Either way, it's a chance to visit with fellow fishermen and women, cast a line and enjoy the cool of the morning air.
